From 31st October, 2014 new Taxi Drivers will have a 3- stage application process to complete.
Stage 1
Apply For & Pass The Taxi Theory Test
(Please note that the taxi theory test is a lot different from the learner driver theory test, contact us for further information on study materials).
Stage 2
Apply For & Pass The Taxi Driver Practical Test (Before taking the Practical Test you must pass the Theory)
Stage 3
Submit an application form to the Department for infastructure Apply for enhanced Access NI check Go to your G.P for a medical.
First steps to becoming a taxi driver
You've decided that you want a career as a taxi driver what is the very first step you must take ? The first step you must take is to simply phone me by using the button below we will arrange a driving lesson at the end of that lesson I will supply you with all the materials and information you will need for the theory test. We shall continue with driving lessons while you complete your theory test once passed it's just a case of applying for the practical test.
